The Perche valley sits withing a regional national park, full of relaxing walks & scenic drives.

Forest view is set in 10 acres, including a 1.5 acre fishing lake, situated next to the Forét de Saussay.

At Forest View, we have a gité available for hire,

The gité accomodation comprises of 3 bedrooms, ( 2 ground floor ) twin beds in all rooms. Bath / shower room. Kitchen / dining room. The kitchen is equiped with washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine.

Ample parking at the front,  Patio area & BBQ at the back, with views over the surrounding countryside.

Forest view is open all year.

Painting workshops.

The painting workshops are held on a Tuesday & Thursday ( minimum 2 persons) they can incorporate different mediums, i.e watercolour, acrylic & pastel.  Karen uses the popular step by step teaching method, you start with a blank paper & finish with a masterpiece ! The workshops start at 10.30 & finish around 4.30, included is a light lunch.

If you have always wanted to "have a go " then this is an ideal start for you.

We have a 1.5 acre fishing lake, stocked with roach, rudd, perch, tench & Carp ( 18lb)

Horse riding is available at a local Chàteau.

Walking & cycling, the peaceful scenic area offers many different walking & cycling routes.

Bird watching, we are situated next to the forét de Saussay. This is a bird watchers paradise, with a large mix of different species.

Forest view is located in the village of Dorceau, near to the town of Remalard. The town is a small quaint french town, offering shops, bars & restaurants.

the nearest larger town is called Nogent le Rotrou, which is a 15 minute drive.

Le Mans & Chartre are a 50 minute drive.

A mainline railway station is only a 5 minute drive from Forest View.
